Chady, Nayrie- My delay in responding today was not in any way a commentary on your work, but rather a result of my desire to have a moment to write to say more than just a simple thank you. In a word, the work you have produced is hardly less than perfection! I may well have been a demanding client, but you have responded with courtesy and accommodation without the slightest hint of unhappiness or objection, despite a commission perhaps a bit more demanding than you had expected. Once we understood each other, your production was from every point of view-functional and artistic-could hardly have been better. The fit to the space was virtually perfect-panel A could not have fit better. The only slight fitting adjustment was applied to Panel B; the addition of 1/8" inch of ocean blue to fill the space between the octopus panel at the side of the upper cabinet. The extra material that you supplied was a perfect match and the fix just a few minutes to integrate seamlessly. Panels C and D fit perfectly and the corner joints attest. As to the aesthetics and the artistic sensitivity, I could not be more pleased. The attention to the tiny slivers that provided the realism to the multicolored fish was amazing-a credit to the sensitivity-and skill- of the artist. The choice of colors to add dimension through shading was outstanding. The use of reflective tiles was an added touch to suggest the sparkling of sunlight on the subjects. The three-dimensional addition of elements set below the overall mural surface were an unexpected and special touch. Lastly, the overall effort to cut the stone to shapes in harmony with the elements they were meant to create reflects a true understanding of the way stone can bring life to the elements. In short, irrespective of the time it took to get from the beginning to the finished product, despite our apparent less than perfect communication along the way, you have responded in way I truly wish that other suppliers would emulate. From beginning to end, including the almost instant delivery once you shipped, we could not be more pleased. Should our photos of your work installed be helpful in obtaining future commissions, please feel free to utilize them (and ask me for more if useful) and please refer any potential clients to us so that we may relate our experience and allay any concerns they may have about committing to a substantial project with you. Thanks again. Sam Ornstein
