Description

This Greek mosaic art illustrates the Goddess Alectrona in an arch shaped mosaic and on a blue background. Alectrona was a daughter of Helios and Rhodes, and sister to the Heliadae. She died a virgin and was worshipped as a heroine on the island of Rhodes.
