From Vision to Innovation: The Story of Mozaico’s Founder
In 2003 — before e-commerce transformed the art world — Chady Tawil began his journey in Beirut with a simple yet powerful vision: to make mosaic art accessible to everyone. Combining artistic talent with entrepreneurial drive, he built Mozaico from the ground up, piece by piece.
Mozaico expanded internationally with the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Naperville, Illinois, becoming one of the first mosaic art brands to launch an e-commerce platform. This pioneering step marked the beginning of a new era where art and technology converged.
What started as a small workshop has since evolved into a global network of 50 international mosaic artists, guided by an Italian Head Creative Mosaicist from the School of Friuli. Today, Mozaico’s handcrafted artworks have reached more than 18,000 customers across 78 countries, earning recognition as a leader in luxury mosaic design.
Chady continues to drive Mozaico’s vision forward, uniting artistry, innovation, and digital excellence. By integrating AI, advanced technologies, and data-driven strategies, he is redefining the mosaic industry — enhancing precision, personalization, and production efficiency.
